We have received the signed declaration of Biri Rocks as a National Geological Monument today, November 19, 2025 from the National Committee on Geological Sciences (NCGS) at the Mines and Geosciences Main Building, MGB Compound, North Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City. This document was signed by DENR Secretary Raphael Lotilla formally recognizing the province's Biri Rocks as one of the prized heritage in the Philippines for its outstanding geological significance and natural beauty.
The Provincial Government and LGU Biri share this achievement to the entire Northern Samar community who have been with us in safeguarding and promoting this natural gem.
